DC to DC regulated step down power adaptor. The unit will step down any DC power from 4.5 to 35 volts DC to a regulated stable output of 3 volts. The module also has built in 2 capacitors fitted for smoothing out any voltage flicker. This is preset in the workshop for you. It can output up to a max of 2 amps provided that the input amps present from the power source and the input power source is a minimum of just 1.5 volts the higher up to 35 volts DC The unit is super stable to 100th of a volt and we have run extensive test both in the workshop and out on the exhibition circuit, all the results have been very positive. This little module has many applications for use from running LEDs to any of our products using the superchip. i.e vehicles with fitted lights to Radio controlled models using power from 4.5 volts upwards.The list goes on. Another benefit of the unit is it replaces the need to use batteries for good. The unit is also priced to suit every modelers budget. It is less than 2 packs of good quality batteries If you wish to use this unit on DCC then a bridge rectifier will need to be fitted to convert the AC power to DC.
